There are a huge number of monuments in the world. Some depict people, other animals, and others - technology. There is even a paper clip, fork, ax and wallet. And there are very interesting monuments that everyone should see.
Monument to Trabant
Trabant is an East German car brand. The author of the sculpture is David Cherny.
This sculpture was dedicated to political refugees from East Germany who, before the fall of the Berlin Wall, came to Prague on their "trabants" and asked the German embassy for help and asylum. The sculpture was installed in front of the German Embassy in Prague on the night of 1989.
Monument to laughter
On the market square of Flensburg (Germany), benches are decorated with sculptures of laughing people who create a mood for smiles. Locals have long slandered this place as "Merry Benches". In total, 6 different people are sitting on the benches: two old women, an old man with a granddaughter, a middle-aged hard worker and a man. Everyone has different emotions of "laughter", and the granddaughter did not understand the joke at all.
Monument "Greed is vice"
A toad with a thick gold chain around its neck, 2 mobile phones, a wad of money crushing the heads of four people: a man, a woman, an old man and a child. Now this topic is relevant among all segments of the population.
The monument is located in the city of Berdyansk (Ukraine), and the idea belongs to the mayor of the city Valery Baranov, the author was Nikolai Mironenko. A bronze sculpture weighing 250 kilograms is installed on the city embankment.
Monument "Man with a Dog"
This monument is located in the city of Krasnoyarsk (Russia) and local residents gave it a more interesting name - "Uncle Vasya is a drunkard". It is located on the "Lovers" square and the newlyweds fell in love with it very much, you can often see how they prop up a pillar together with him and are just joking.
The author of the monument was the sculptor K. M. Zinich. Installed it in August 2005.
Monument "Eternal Love"
The monument is located in Nong Khai (Thailand) in one of the cemeteries. Although, it has turned into a monument now, and initially it was an ordinary gravestone. Looking at how skeletons hug, you understand that the death of true love is not an obstacle. The monument is very unusual and gives ground for thought.
Monument "Man Attacked by Children"
The monument is located in Oslo (Norway) and was created by a sculpture by Adolf Gustav Vigeland. He worked on the work for 43 years. And so, it turned out to be a masterpiece in the Art Nouveau style.
Most likely, the author wanted to show how in our time some treat their own children. They give up, conceive new ones and give up again. In fact, this is a very serious problem with which others cannot fight.
