Until 1948, there was no Zelenogorsk on the map of the Leningrad Region. The town had the Finnish name Terijoki, and it ended up within the borders of the Soviet Union after the war. Here you can still feel the spirit of an old dacha place, which was visited by many great figures of Russian culture. Now Zelenogorsk is part of the Kurortny district of St. Petersburg.

Step 1
You can get to Zelenogorsk in several ways - for example, by train. Trains to Zelenogorsk go from Finland Station, but you can also take intermediate stations - Novaya Derevnya, Staraya Derevnya, Udelnaya. All of them, except for the New Village, are located next to the metro stations of the same name. The new village is located between the stations "Chernaya Rechka" and "Pionerskaya", so it can be reached by metro - you will have to walk 10 or 15 minutes.
If you decide to go from Finland Station, you need to take the metro to Ploshchad Lenina station. She is on the red line. You need to get on the trains heading towards Vyborg. Electric trains are suitable for Kannelyarvi, Roshchino and Zelenogorsk itself. They walk often enough.
Step 2
You can also get to Zelenogorsk by route taxi or by bus. There are quite a lot of minibuses going in the right direction. The most popular bus is number 400. It goes from Lenin Square, the stop is just opposite the Finland Station. This route is considered the fastest and cheapest.
Step 3
A convenient route to Zelenogorsk also starts from the Staraya Derevnya metro station. There you need to take bus # 305. You can also get to the station "Chernaya Rechka". Almost next to the pavilion you will find a bus stop for bus # 211. It goes, however, for a long time. You can also get to the station "Prospect Prosvescheniya", where you can change to a fixed-route taxi # 680.
Step 4
If you prefer to travel by your own car, then you have two options: Vyborgskoe highway or Primorskoe. If you choose Primorskoe highway, part of the way to Zelenogorsk you will pass along the Scandinavia highway. To get along the Vyborg highway, you need to pass the village of Pesochnoe, and after Beloostrov, turn right.
