New Year is a holiday that you always want to celebrate in a special way. However, sometimes the situation develops in such a way that plans change. For example, a planned trip is postponed due to delays in the production of a new passport. Nevertheless, there are countries where you can go on New Year's and without a passport.

The list of countries where you can enter without a passport is rather small. It includes only a few states of the former USSR - Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Abkhazia. To enter their territory, you just need to have a Russian passport. But even these neighboring countries have a large number of interesting places where you can spend an unforgettable holiday.
Step 2
If you want to spend your New Year at sea, then it is best to go to Abkhazia or Ukraine. Abkhazia is an amazingly beautiful country with picturesque nature, beautiful years, gorges and the purest blue sea. In this country, you can relax much cheaper than, for example, in the same Krasnodar Territory, however, the level of hotel service here is an order of magnitude lower. The resorts of Novy Afon, Pitsunda, Sukhum and Gagra are especially popular in Abkhazia.

A trip to Ukraine is relatively more expensive, but the level of service for tourists here is quite high. This country is famous for its amazing climate. On New Year's Eve, you can enjoy both a beach vacation in the Crimea, Azov and Shatsk lakes, as well as at famous ski resorts in the Carpathians. If you like excursions, then you can definitely visit Lviv on New Year's Eve, or rather its historical part. It is also worth visiting Odessa, Sevastopol or Kiev - cities that have a rich history and no less interesting sightseeing landscapes.

In Belarus, you can visit the Belovezhskaya Pushcha park and the country's many reserves, where various animals live, some of which are listed in the Red Book. You can also visit the Brest Fortress, St. Sophia Cathedral in Polotsk or Mir Castle.

In Kazakhstan, you can have a great rest and celebrate the New Year in the Altai Mountains, where there are a large number of ski resorts. With an excursion, you can visit the famous Baikonur cosmodrome, look at the primitive rock paintings in the mountains and visit the place where the Great Silk Road used to pass and enjoy all the beauty of Kazakh nature and lakes.
