If you have come to Paris for more than one day, do not limit yourself to visiting the Eiffel Tower or several louvre halls. There are many interesting places in this city, less popular with tourists, but capable of showing you Paris from an unusual perspective.
Instructions
Step 1
Create your own museum visit program according to your tastes. If you love history and romance of chivalry, check out the Medieval Museum in the heart of the Latin Quarter. For those who are close to Impressionist painting, it is best to visit the Orsay Museum. But keep in mind that for a short visit to the city, it would be most reasonable to stop at one museum, but having devoted a significant part of the day to it, you can take your time to enjoy the contemplation of paintings or sculptures.
Step 2
Sign up for a guided tour. There are a lot of them in Paris, and some of them are also designed for local residents. Such a guided visit will be a good opportunity to discover interesting places in the city and learn more about their history. You can sign up for a tour in English, French or even Russian through the Office de tourisme, an organization dedicated to helping tourists.
Step 3
Don't forget about Parisian gastronomy. The best restaurants in the city are listed in the Michelin guide, but lunch at these establishments can cost from 30-40 to 100 euros or more. If you are on a more modest budget, choose one of the many Parisian bistros for under € 20. Choose a place that is full at lunchtime - more often than not, this is a sign that the establishment has a good smithy. Do not forget to visit one of the Parisian markets - they are most often held in the morning. There you can buy the freshest vegetables and fruits, as well as cheeses, pates and ready-made hot meals.
Step 4
If you love theater, visit one of the Parisian shows. Most of the dramas are only in French, but even if you don't know it, you can, for example, visit the Paris Opera, a theater with a long tradition. It is best to book tickets in advance on the Opera's website.
