To visit this state, you just need to have a valid passport. Unfortunately, the current situation in the capital of Thailand does not have the most favorable effect on the country's tourism income.
In the next twenty days, the opposition promises to block the central streets of the city. The action will be called "We will close Bangkok", it is expected to introduce restrictions on traffic on busy intersections and possibly de-energize some areas of the city. However, Rosturizm and the Foreign Ministry did not impose any bans on travel to Bangkok. All the channels just hear a faraza that it is better for Russian tourists to refrain from traveling to Thailand. However, this phrase is only advisory in nature.
So, the question is brewing, is it worth going to Bangkok now?
Tour operators are convinced that those tourists who have purchased vouchers in advance have nothing to fear, since all airlines make their flights as usual. But for those tourists who are just planning their vacation, I would recommend choosing another country for a beach holiday. In any case, it is better to refrain from visiting Bangkok.
It is worth noting that travel agencies do not observe a stop in the sale of vouchers, especially to Pattaya. Departures continue to operate normally. It's just that some travel companies will not provide accommodation, transfers and excursion services (in particular, TEZ Tour Thailand). Another tour operator, Pegas Touristik, is ready to replace accommodation in Bangkok with Pattaya (if such a desire arises among tourists).
