Step 1

The list of required documents consists of an original civil passport and a copy of the pages containing information about the owner, a receipt with a paid state fee and photographs. The state duty for a new passport for adults is 2500 rubles, for children under 14 years old - 1200 rubles, for the old model 1000 rubles. and 300 p. respectively. For a new document with a biochip, you need 2 photos with a size of 3 * 4 in color or black-and-white resolution, for an old-style passport - 3 images. The application form can be downloaded in advance from the FMS website and filled out on a computer or with a black ink pen. You should write strictly in capital letters. The readiness of the passport can be monitored on the website of the FMS for the city of Ivanovo - ufmsivanovo.ru, in the section "Service for checking the readiness of foreign passports". You can also submit documents through the portal of public services - gosuslugi.ru. To enter your personal account, you will need a SNILS number and an activation code, which can be obtained from Rostelecom sales offices and post offices. After entering, you need to find the required service and correctly fill in all the steps. You will need to upload a photo in the required dimensions and pixels. As the FMS officer accepts the application, a notification is sent to the specified email address with an invitation to take a photo. A foreign passport is prepared within a month.
