Since April 2010, the visa application form for all 25 Schengen countries has been unified. Currently, many travelers independently apply for a Schengen visa, drawing up the relevant documents. At first glance, everything is simple, but when filling out the questionnaire, questions and doubts arise.

Step 1
Fill in the points about yourself. In the column about the place of birth, write Russia, because The USSR no longer exists, about citizenship - also Russia, if it is Russian. All data must correspond to the passport.

Item 11 - identification number - if you don't know, leave it blank, because this is not a passport.
Step 3
Correctly indicate the type and details of the travel document, as well as the home and email address and contact telephone number.

The "host country" is filled in only in case of residence outside the home country. If you live according to citizenship, then put a cross next to the "no" option.
Step 5
Clause 19-20 is filled out identically to the title of the position and the employer's data from the certificate from the place of work about the salary. The phone will be used for verification, so write the one that will definitely call you. When changing the place of work / study, indicate the data on the day of submission of the questionnaire.
Step 6
Schengen visa (paragraphs 21-25). The purpose of the trip should be one. If you are traveling by invitation, then select the appropriate option. The country of destination is the one where you are applying. If you are going to visit several countries, then choose the one in which you will spend the most days, or enter the Schengen area through it. Indicate the country that will be the first. If your flight will be with a transfer at the airport of the Schengen state, then enter it - you will be crossing the border here. The multiplicity of entry is determined by the number of packages of documents. If you have a hotel reservation and tickets for only one trip, then you may be refused a multivisa. Please read the tickets carefully to indicate the length of stay - count from the day of entry to the day of departure.
Step 7
List all Schengen visas issued within three years, starting with the last one, how many will fit in the box. It is better to inform the country and visa duration (full). When changing your passport, copy the visa page in order to be able to answer this question.
Step 8
Item 28 is filled in if the visa is transit. It is necessary to attach a copy of the final visa or tickets in case of a visa-free regime.
Step 9
Clauses 29 and 30 - data should be indicated on tickets. If there are several trips, then enter the first day of the first trip and the last day of the last trip.
Step 10
In the paragraphs about the host, enter the details of the inviting persons, the company and its manager or hotel (for tourists). In addition, let us know who is responsible for paying your expenses and how much.
