It is necessary

  • - a passport valid for at least three months from the end of the trip;
  • - 2 photocopies of the spread of the passport. If children are entered in the passport, photocopies of pages with their data are needed;

  • - photocopies of all pages of the internal passport;
  • - a questionnaire completed and signed by the applicant;
  • - hotel reservation or invitation;
  • - travel tickets in both directions;
  • - 2 color photographs measuring 3, 5 X 4, 5 cm on a light gray or light blue background;
  • - medical insurance policy (original and copy) with coverage of at least 30,000 euros;
  • - confirmation of financial security at the rate of 50 euros per day per person;
  • - pay the consular fee.

Step 1

First, prepare a questionnaire. It must be completed in French or English. You need to fill it out on a computer or by hand in block letters. One photo must be pasted on the profile. The second photo must be attached to the application form with a paper clip.

Step 2

Submission of documents is possible both by appointment and without appointment. However, applicants who sign up in advance have priority. You can sign up by calling (495) 504-37-05 or on the website of the visa center. The Visa Application Center is open from 9:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Friday).

If you haven't made an appointment in time, you will have to spend some time in line. It all depends on the season.

Step 3

Before visiting a French Visa Application Center, make sure your documents are folded in the following order:

-anquette;

-original invitation;

-insurance policy;

- travel tickets;

-original certificate of employment and other financial documents;

- copies of the first page of the passport;

-book the hotel (copy of the invitation);

- Copies of Schengen visas from the used passport.

Step 4

If you are traveling by invitation, you must attach the original and a copy of the invitation to the main documents. It must be certified by the mayor's office of the city in which the inviting acquaintance or relative lives. In addition, a copy of an identity card of a French citizen or a residence permit for foreigners is required.

In case of visiting relatives who are Russian citizens, it is necessary to provide a copy of the residence permit of a citizen of the Russian Federation permanently residing in France, and documents confirming the relationship (birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc.).

Step 5

If you are going to rent a property in France and live in it, the following must be attached to the main documents:

- lease agreement (original and copy), drawn up in the name of the applicant;

- copies of documents confirming that the owner of the property has paid all taxes for the previous year;

- a copy of the property owner's ID.

Step 6

Students must provide a student ID and a sponsorship letter from one of the parents confirming the parent's income.

Pensioners and non-working citizens must attach a sponsorship letter from a relative who finances the trip and proof of his financial solvency.

Step 7

For kids

The main documents must be attached:

- original and copy of birth certificate;

- a certificate from the school;

- the original and a copy of a notarized power of attorney from both parents with direct permission for the child to leave for France and other Schengen countries (even if the child is traveling with both parents).

Step 8

If one of the parents is traveling, a power of attorney is required from him with direct permission to leave the child in his accompaniment. In addition, you need the original and a copy of the power of attorney from the second parent, and a copy of the spread of his internal passport.

If the child travels accompanied by third parties, an original and a copy of a notarized power of attorney from both parents for the child's trip accompanied by a third person, written confirmation of the third party's consent to accompany the child and copies of the spread of the child's parents' passports are required.

If the second parent (s) is absent, you must provide the relevant documents:

- a certificate from the police;

- certificates from the registry office in form 25;

- a court decision to deprive the father (mother) of parental rights;

- the original and a photocopy of the marriage certificate (in case the parents have different surnames).
