Instructions

Step 1

The first step is to plunge into the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, which is rightfully considered the cleanest water area in the world. The water here is so crystal that you can see the bottom at a depth of 150 meters. The best beaches in Montenegro are located in the northwestern part of Budva, as well as in the southeast in Ulcinj right on the border with Albania. The first beaches are more adapted for adults: there are pontoons protruding deep into the sea and high jumps. The southeastern beaches are more suitable for children, because they are on the shallows: you can go a kilometer from the coast and the water will only be waist-deep.

Step 2

After you have bought a lot and you are a little tired of it, the best way to pass the time is to go to Boka Kotorska Bay. It is one of the twenty most beautiful bays in the world and is surrounded by mountains up to a kilometer high along its entire perimeter. This beautiful place has always been attractive for enterprising people. The bay was ruled by the Romans, Slavs, Venetians and French in their years. This place directly breathes history: all architecture resembles the Middle Ages, so if you want to plunge into the past, you must visit this place.

Step 3

For nature lovers, Montenegro will also be a tasty morsel. It is in Montenegro that the second deepest canyon in the world is located after the very Grand Canyon in Colorado. The canyon, along the bottom of which the Tara River flows, stretches for 80 kilometers and along the most picturesque part of it there is a mountain serpentine, which will allow you to fully enjoy the beauty of this truly unique creation of nature. A tour of the canyon for landscape lovers can last for 2 days.

Step 4

Numerous reserves are located near the canyon, the most famous of which are Durmitor and Beogradskaya Gora. Each of them is worth mentioning separately. Beogradska Gora is worth visiting in the summer for its beautiful hiking trails in the virgin nature of Montenegro. If you just want to enjoy nature in tranquility, you can rent a boat and take a ride on Lake Beogradskoe, located at the entrance to the reserve.

Step 5

Durmitor is not so beautiful in summer, but it is more attractive in winter when it becomes the ski capital of the Balkans. Tourists have at their disposal a huge number of routes designed for the most varied skill levels: from beginner to professional. Snow here lasts until April, so you can combine a vacation by the sea with a ski adventure.
