Step 1
If you have a computer with Internet access in your house, then finding out the fare to the desired point is quite simple. This information can be obtained on the official website of JSC Russian Railways. To get to the main page of the site, type the address in the search bar of your Internet browser: https://rzd.ru/. Follow the link and your eyes will open the main page of the Russian Railways website
Step 2
On the left side of the page, you will see a square window with the words "Passengers" in black. A line with words written in red font will be visible under the caption: “Schedule, availability, ticket prices”. Below, one below the other, there are three tabs: "From", "Where", "Date".
Step 3
Fill in the blank lines on the tabs with the name of the start and end point of your trip and the desired date. Moreover, you can write the date yourself (only the date and month are written), or you can insert it by selecting it from the drop-down menu. To get into it, you need to click on the square on the right side of the "Date" line. Let's say the departure point is Moscow, the final point is Belgorod, the date is 20.10.
Step 4
After the lines are filled in, click on the "Find" tab located at the bottom of the window, on the right side. A page entitled "Availability of tickets MOSCOW - BELGOROD at 20.10" will open. The table will list all trains on the Moscow-Belgorod route on the specified date, ie. October 20 of the current year. In the columns of the table, you will see the train numbers, the time of their departure and arrival, the travel time. The column "Availability" will indicate the types of seats: L-suite, K-compartment, P-reserved seat, etc.
Step 5
To view the fare, select the desired train from the list by clicking on the circle located at the beginning of the line with the train number and route, and press the "Continue" button. It is located in the lower left corner of the page. A table with detailed information on the selected train will open. In it you can see the types of train carriages, their numbers, the availability of free seats, their number and type (top, bottom, side) for each carriage, as well as the fare you are interested in, including VAT.
