Carriage of alcohol in carry-on or checked baggage is strictly regulated by airlines. It is not recommended to bypass the existing rules, as this can lead to unpleasant consequences.

Step 1
It should be borne in mind that the rules on international flights primarily depend on the legislation of the country to which the flight is made. It is better to clarify these rules with the tour operator, at the embassy, at the airline itself before the flight, so as not to get into an unpleasant situation. From Russia to most other countries, you can export a block of cigarettes, two liters of any wine, a liter of alcohol with a strength of more than twenty-eight degrees, in some cases the amount of allowed alcohol can vary, mainly in a smaller direction. For example, alcohol of any fortress is prohibited from being imported into Saudi Arabia.
Step 2
You can bring two liters of any alcohol to Russia without any problems. It is possible to increase this amount to ten liters, only in this case it will be necessary to pay excise tax, duty and VAT, which is rather unprofitable.
Step 3
Please note that the general rules for carry-on baggage are subject to the general rules for carrying alcohol on board. According to the rules, you can take no more than one hundred grams of alcoholic drink to the salon in an undamaged factory container, and the container must be sealed in a plastic bag and closed with a zipper. Please note that the integrity of the packaging will most likely be checked before planting.

On most international flights, it is completely free to transport alcohol from Duty Free in the cabin. True, it must be packed in special sealed bags. However, if you are flying from a country that is not included in the Schengen area, you will be politely asked to move drinks to your luggage before boarding in a Schengen country. Only the alcohol that was bought in the American Duty Free can be carried in the US air transport cabins.
Step 5
The right to carry alcohol in hand luggage does not mean that you can drink it on board. This is governed by the internal rules of the airlines. In most cases, it is only allowed to drink alcohol on board the aircraft that was bought on board. Many air carriers have a dry law, so it is worth checking the rules at the office of the company whose plane or aircrafts you are traveling.
