The rhythm of Moscow life is so impetuous that it is easy to get tired of it. However, very close to Moscow there are many wonderful and unique places that will be interesting for both children and adults to visit. Unhurried walks, quiet rest, exciting excursions and even space simulators - all this can be found in the Moscow region.

Step 1
Fans of military equipment are strongly advised to take a look at the T-34 tank museum. As you know, this is the best medium tank of the Second World War, and here you can learn about all the intricacies of its development and creation. The museum is located seventeen kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road in the village of Sholokhovo.
Step 2
Not far from Moscow, you can take a walk in Kratovo, here are absolutely incredible pine trees, under a hundred meters high, under the pine trees there are several clean lakes with sandy beaches, and there is also a boat station. The Small Railway is also nearby - this is a wonderful attraction for children, because here the functioning of the entire complex is provided by children. Kratovo is located twenty kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road, not far from the town of Zhukovsky. It is very easy to get here - by trains of the Kazan direction.
Step 3
Another great place for walking is Pushkino. This town has a central park with comfortable gazebos, developed infrastructure and beautiful landscapes. The park regularly hosts cultural and sports events. You can get to Pushkino by the Yaroslavl railway.

On the Yaroslavl highway you can get to the Trinity-Sergius Lava. The Lavra is open to everyone from early morning until nine in the evening, but you can get on the excursion only by pre-registering, excursions run from nine in the morning to five in the evening. In addition to the stunning architecture of the Lavra, there are two healing springs on its territory. One is at the Nadkladznaya Chapel, the second is in Malinniki. It is believed that these sources are directly related to Sergius of Radonezh. The well, over which the Overhead Chapel was later built, was dug in the fourteenth century.
Step 5
Twenty-five kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road along the Shchelkovskoye Highway there is a turn to Star City. It is still a closed city, but it houses the Space Research Museum, which can be visited by everyone. Here they tell in detail about beautiful spaceships, show detailed models of devices, the first rocket, the very first flight control panel, spacesuits and other things related to space. In this museum, you can see real simulators on which astronauts are trained, a centrifuge, a hydro laboratory, where simulations of work in open space are held, and much more. By the way, after passing a medical examination, these simulators can be tested, but only in a soft mode.
