Rest on the beach of the Black Sea coast of Russia
The calm and hospitable surface of the Black Sea is open for swimming until the last days of October. The Russian Black Sea coast is conventionally divided into 3 climatic zones:
- zone of temperate maritime climate;
- Mediterranean climate zone;
- subtropical zone.
The first zone stretches from Taman to Anapa, the second - from Anapa to Tuapse and the third - from Tuapse to Adler. In total, the Black Sea coast of Russia has 48 resort areas. It is safe to say that here any visitor will find a vacation to their liking.
A beach holiday at the sea is far from the only kind of leisure offered to guests of the Black Sea coast. There are many historical sites here. In almost every town you can see the ruins of ancient settlements.
Resorts of the Azov Sea
Despite the geographical proximity of the Azov and Black Seas, they are very different from each other. Azov water is almost not salty and very rich in iodine. This coastline is replete with small and cozy towns.
Yeisk and Taganrog are more suitable for family vacations. The villages of the Krasnodar Territory will delight guests with their ecology and silence. The most popular is the Tizdar mud volcano, located on the Taman Peninsula, 10 kilometers from the village of Golubitskaya. An excursion to the ancient Russian city of Tmutarakan and Hermonessa can brighten up the monotony of a beach holiday.
Holidays in Russia on the Sea of Japan
The Sea of Japan is not as inclined to a beach holiday as the South Seas. But here it has its own unique flavor. Even if the water is not so warm, there are fewer sunny days than in Gelendzhik, and this open sea storms much more often, but having arrived here, you can enjoy the unique ocean climate and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The coast of the Sea of Japan is a real Mecca for divers and lovers of sea travel.
Rest in the Baltic
At the other end of the country there is another sea, which, although it cannot compete in popularity with the southern seas and does not pretend to be the exotic uniqueness of the Far Eastern landscapes, however, remains in great demand among Russians. A string of famous Baltic resorts stretches along the Gulf of Finland along the Old Primorskoye Highway: Repino, Komarovo, Zelenogorsk, Sestroretsk. The Baltic Sea does not please with warm water even in the hot summer months, but the Baltic dunes are a great place for sunbathing and peaceful relaxation.
