On the territory of the burial there are more than 1000 graves of those who died in the Great Patriotic War. In their place, 64 tomb monuments and 2 steles were installed. Not so long ago, a monument to the heroes of the Second World War was erected on the site of a common grave.

Kandel Edward
A pioneer in the world of neurosurgery. He became one of the first surgeons to apply the latest developments in the surgical treatment of cerebral aneurysms. Laureate of the USSR State Prize. On August 1, 1990, he died and was buried in the Central Alley of the Vostryakovsky cemetery.
