In order for the rest to be remembered not by incidents and misunderstandings that happened to you, but by vivid impressions and wonderful mood, you need to plan it correctly. When going on a trip, think about the route, the necessary stops, and ways of movement in advance. If possible, foresee your actions in case of force majeure circumstances.
Necessary
- - Map;
- - Transport timetable;
- - Phones of the hotels where you will be staying;
- - Special equipment and sportswear.
Instructions
Step 1
Make a route. This is especially important if you plan to travel to sparsely populated or hard-to-reach places. Sometimes the correctness of the laid route directly depends on whether you reach your intended goal or you have to turn back. In order not to reproach yourself later, purchase a map of the area and mark right on it where and how you will move. If this is an equestrian route, take care of the possibility of caring for the horse. For cycling routes, swamps or other natural "traps" can become an insurmountable obstacle. The pedestrian route imposes restrictions on the weight of luggage, which must also be taken into account when drawing up the trajectory of movement.
Step 2
Pack your things for the trip, according to the climate and type of terrain you are going to travel. If you have an extreme route - for example, you are going to raft on a fast mountain river - be sure to provide protection. You also need at least one pair of changeable clothes and shoes. A separate word is the organization of meals during the trip. And you need to think about this in advance. For travel, freeze-dried foods are preferred, which are produced by dehydration, which greatly lightens their weight. Another important aspect is the calorie content of the diet. Since you will expend a large amount of energy, it must be replenished, and this should also be foreseen. One of the best foods for this purpose is chocolate.
Step 3
Worry about medications. Going on vacation, no one plans ailments, but they do happen. A situation may arise when there is simply nowhere to get medical supplies. In your first-aid kit, among other things, there should be insect bites, bandages, iodine, tablets for disinfecting drinking water. Even if you have no doubts about the purity of the reservoir, it is recommended to drink unboiled water only with the use of such means.
Step 4
Book hotels for the entire journey. A plan for getting out of force majeure will not be superfluous either. For example, if you are going on a bike trip, decide what to do if it breaks down. When the vacation is planned in advance, the risk of returning home in a bad mood is minimized.
