El Prat is the second airport in terms of passenger traffic in Spain and the largest in Catalonia. From it you can get to Barcelona by motorway, train and bus connections.
Instructions
Step 1
Use the bus service. You can get from El Prat airport to the city using the following routes. Aerobus A1 will take you from El Prat Airport (Terminal T1) to Plaza Catalunya stop. The fare will be 9, 95 euros. On the Aerobus A2 you can get from Terminal T2 to the same destination station. The fare will be the same as in the first case.
Step 2
The southern part of the city (stop Castelldefels) can be reached by the Line L99 bus. The fare will be 2 euros. The message works from 6:45 am to 10:15 pm. The bus leaves every 30 minutes. To the western part of the city from the airport, you can take the Line L77 bus. The beginning of the movement is 6:25, the end is 22:05. The bus leaves for the Sant Joan Despi stop every 20 minutes.
The Plaza Espanya stop can be reached on Line L46 from 5:30 to 00:45. Line PR1 heads to El Prat de Llobregat stop. The starting time of the movement is 6:35, the end is 22:35. The fare for all city buses, except for the Aerobus express trains, is 2 euros.
Step 3
Travel from the airport by train. There is an electric train from Airport train station to El Clot Arago station in the city. You can also get off at the stations El Prat de Llobregat, Bellvitge, Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gracia. The movement of electric trains from the airport starts at 5:42 local time and ends at 23:38. Trains leave every 20-30 minutes. Travel time to the final station is 22 minutes.
Step 4
Drive from El Prat with your own or rented vehicle. To get from the airport to the southern part of the city, you need to move along the C-32 highway. If you want to get onto the national road N-340, then you need to follow the C-31 road from the airport to El Vendrell. The fastest way to get to northern Barcelona from El Prat is the Ronda de Dalt and Ronda Litoral motorways.
