When people talk about rest in Ukraine, first of all, one recalls the Crimean peninsula with its magnificent landscapes, warm sea and numerous attractions. The nature of Crimea is rich and diverse. Mountain landscapes and canyons are bordered by picturesque rivers and waterfalls. The uniqueness of the geographical position of Crimea and favorable climate conditions determine the originality of the flora and fauna.

Each of the nationalities and civilizations intersecting on its territory has contributed to the historical heritage of the Crimean peninsula. The result is the emergence of numerous cultural and historical monuments.
Step 3
The southern coast of Crimea is famous for its palaces: Vorontsov, Massandrovsky, Livadia, Yusupov, as well as the Swallow's Nest and the palace at Cape Plaka. These architectural structures are of great historical value and great scientific interest.

It will be interesting to visit famous parks: Gurzufsky, Foros, Miskhorsky, a villa with a park "Kharaks". In Yalta there is a famous Primorsky Park, Nikitsky Botanical Garden. Fans of educational excursions will have the opportunity to visit the house-museums of Sergeev-Tsensky, Chekhov, Lesya Ukrainka.

The eastern coast of Crimea is rich in natural attractions. Especially impressive are the Sokol and Karaul-Oba mountains, the Golden Gate and Karadag. Ancient cities are also located here - the Genoese fortress in Sudak and Yeni-Kale. A famous place in the Eastern Crimea is the village of Novy Svet with its own sparkling wine factory.

The western coast of Crimea is known for such places as the Juma-Jami mosque, the Kara-Tobe settlement, the Karaim Kenasy temple, the ancient city of Kalos Limen in the Black Sea.

Rest in Ukraine is not limited only to the resort area of Crimea. All lovers of educational travel will not be left indifferent by a visit to the most ancient city and capital of Ukraine - Kiev. Numerous sights of the city are especially interesting for excursions.
Step 8
Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is a large monastery complex, which is a historical monument of world importance. For the first time this monastery is mentioned in the chronicles of the 11th century, according to which the Lavra was founded by the monk of the holy life Anthony. The overground part of the Lavra includes a complex of 15 churches, including the famous Assumption Cathedral. The underground part consists of caves containing the relics of the glorified saints.

The unusually beautiful St. Andrew's Church was built since 1749 by the architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. It is located on a high hill on the banks of the Dnieper River and overlooks the historic district of the capital - Podol.
Step 10
The house with chimeras, built by the architect Gorodetsky, is also interesting. A feature of this house is the fact that it is located on the cliff of the bank of the Goat bog, which was extremely difficult for a successful construction. The interiors and facade of the building are decorated with figures of bizarre animals and sea monsters. According to Gorodetsky's sketches, the sculptural works were performed by the Italian master Elio Sala.
