In essence, a person has an eternal desire to "tickle one's nerves", a desire to test oneself for strength, or, in extreme cases, to observe how others skillfully do it. Abrasions, scrapes, bruises are nonsense compared to the impressions one can get from direct or indirect participation in real survival races.
Survival Race or Extrimkross
For the first time "destructive" competitions - survival races - were organized in America in 1946, since then "destroyers" wander around all countries in search of new areas for free riding. As a rule, such competitions are related to contact sports - the car crew not only have to pass the tracks with serious obstacles, but also make the maximum possible collision with the cars of the opponents. According to the results of the competition, the team receives a certain number of points for the technique of performing tricks, and if the car managed to turn the opponent's car or force it to leave the race, the number of points increases significantly.
Survival locations in Russia
This sport can hardly be called soft and fluffy, because sometimes less than half of those who started the race at the start get to the finish line, and in the process of the “battle” the spectators watch the wings and bumpers of cars flying off to the side every now and then. However, in spite of everything, some viewers simply dream of getting to such an extreme show, which, by the way, has been regularly held since 1992 in many parts of Russia.
So, for example, the most famous race for survival today is the one that is held in Togliatti. Adventure lovers know it as Carmageddon Fest. Competitions are organized here at both local and regional levels.
Similar shows are typical for Krasnoyarsk, which gathers participants from all over the region in the fight for the Fast and the Furious Cup, and Tyumen. There are many test highways in the Moscow region on the Kashirskoye highway and on specially equipped sites in St. Petersburg.
But in the Nizhny Novgorod region, in the city of Pavlovo, survival races have become a tradition. Moreover, several classes of competing objects have been installed at once: motorcycles, cars and even snowmobiles. Winter competitions of this class are also typical for the Primorsky Territory.
There are survival races for the smallest participants. Such competitions, for example, are regularly held in Magadan. The bumpiness of the track may be no different from the "adult" one, but the cars here are very tiny, radio-controlled.
Thus, lovers of such "meat grinders" today have no difficulty in finding a convenient site in order to enjoy a real "male" sport, which, by the way, requires a fair amount of safety training from the participants.
