Many excursion packages include a visit to the ancient synagogue of El-Griba. It is located seven kilometers from Houmt-Suk in a Jewish settlement. The Jewish shrine is one of the oldest - it was built in the sixth century BC. Its last restoration took place in 1920. The construction of the synagogue is shrouded in a lot of secrets and legends.
