Of course, many of them work illegally, but in order to avoid problems with migration services, it is necessary to apply for a work visa.

Step 1
For foreign citizens wishing to work on the territory of the Russian Federation, the employer must issue a work visa. The basis for its registration is the permission of the Federal Migration Service to attract foreign workers, as well as an application from the host company, which has a mark from the migration service, confirming the submission by the employer of documents for obtaining a permit to attract a foreigner to work.
Step 2
Having such documents, the company can apply to the migration service to issue an invitation. The validity of a single-entry work visa for a foreign citizen in Russia is up to 90 days.
Step 3
The invitation is issued on the letterhead of a state institution and must be provided by a foreigner to the Russian consulate of his country to obtain a single-entry work visa in Russia. A foreign citizen, when applying to the Russian embassy in his state to obtain a visa, submits the following documents: - an invitation to enter Russia; - visa application form, which is filled in by a foreigner; - original foreign passport; - color photographs; - health insurance policy; - a receipt confirming the payment of the consular fee.
Step 4
On average, the processing of a Russian visa at a consulate takes up to 14 days. Single-entry visas are issued the fastest, then double-entry, and long-term multiple. Having entered the territory of Russia on this visa, a foreign citizen receives a permit to carry out labor activities in the territory of the Russian Federation.
Step 5
He has the right to re-issue a single-entry work visa to a multiple-entry one, which is valid until the expiration of the permit. This allows a foreigner to cross the Russian border more than once during the period of employment in the company. An invitation to enter the family of a foreigner is issued using the same type of visa as that of a foreign worker. Family members, according to migration legislation, include foreign citizens: - spouse or spouse; - children who have not reached the age of eighteen; - disabled children who have reached the specified age, but are dependent on their parents.
