When buying train tickets, you can ask the cashier to sell you a ticket in the car you need - sleeping, compartment, reserved seat or seated. It is allowed to choose a seat number and a shelf - upper or lower if you buy a ticket in a compartment or reserved seat. In sleeping cars, there are only lower bunks, since there are two people in the compartment. Please note that seats 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 in the reserved seat are located near the toilet. If you do not want to wake up all night from slamming doors, it is better to choose other shelves. As you can see, there is no need to guess which train ticket you will get. You can always choose the class of service and shelf number.

It is not always possible to choose a specific seat on an airplane. The service of booking a ticket with a seat number is provided by only a few airlines. And then not all passengers, but only regular customers or participants in bonus promotions. But you can, when checking in for a flight, ask the airport staff to issue you a boarding pass for a specific seat. If the seats near the window or at the aisle, in the middle or in the tail of the plane, remain unoccupied, you can take them. The only thing that is impossible without additional payment is to change the economy class to business.

If you are going on a sea cruise on a liner, then when buying a ticket, you can choose a class of service. The most inexpensive cabins are located on the lower levels of the ship. There are no portholes, they are designed to accommodate two to six people. It happens that the amenities (shower and toilet) are alone on the corridor. But the price of such rooms is also appropriate. Above them are the middle class cabins with windows and balconies. And at the highest level there are luxury cabins with their own terraces, maids and a separate entrance from the deck. Therefore, when ordering a ticket for a cruise ship, start from your own financial capabilities. You can, of course, choose your cabin number and your seat number.
