Most people associate Yerevan with hospitality that is rare in its scope, as well as magnificent natural views. That is why many Russian tourists come to Armenia at least once in their lives. And to come to Armenia and not see Yerevan is nonsense.

Step 1
The easiest and fastest way to get to Yerevan is by plane. Airliners of S7 and Travnsaero airlines fly from Domodedovo airport to the capital of Armenia, Aeroflot aircraft from Sheremetyevo, and Air Armenia aircraft from Vnukovo. Flight time is 2 hours 55 minutes.
Step 2
It is impossible to get to the capital of Armenia by long-distance train, as there is no direct connection. But you can get to Yerevan by a comfortable bus, which has been traveling along this route for many years. Flights depart to the capital of Armenia once a day from the Kazan railway station of the Russian capital. This road will take about 50 hours.
Step 3
The second option for traveling by bus is to leave from the Kursk railway station. From there, flights leave twice a week, and in winter, generally once every two weeks. Travel time will be about a couple of hours shorter, but the buses are not as comfortable in this case.
Step 4
There are daredevils who dare to embark on a journey to Yerevan in their car. You need to go along the M4 Don and R-217 Caucasus highways through Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Nalchik and Vladikavkaz. Then the path goes through the territory of Georgia, and only after that the traveler will get to Armenia, and then to Yerevan. Travel time, if you do not stop for rest, is approximately 35 hours. And one more thing - going on a journey by car, one should take into account that the quality of roads in Armenia is much worse than in Russia. So there may be unexpected breakdowns.
Step 5
Those who do not want to travel through the territory of Georgia can, moving along the M4 Don and R-217 Caucasus highways, make a 300-kilometer detour and reach Yerevan through the Republic of Dagestan and the territory of Azerbaijan. But this path has one big drawback - constant extortions from the employees of the Dagestan traffic police. So if you want a quieter road, you should use the first option.
