But if you use the services of travel agencies, you may be surprised to find that a week in the south of Ukraine will cost you more than a vacation in Turkey. To save time and make the most of your time, organize your vacation yourself.

Step 1
In order to come to Crimea, you do not need to obtain any visas, it is enough to take your passport with you and buy a train or plane ticket. You can start your trip around the island from Simferopol - this is a large city with convenient connections. From there you can go to Sevastopol, Evpatoria, Feodosia, Alushta. If you want to surprise your friends with your stories about your trip, take an intercity trolleybus to Yalta. The public transport route passes through picturesque places, so the trip will also become an excursion.
Step 2
Upon arrival in the city, the first thing to do is to look for housing, if you have not done so in advance. As soon as you exit the station, you will be surrounded by middle-aged women offering to rent a room or apartment from them. You can agree to their offers, or you can find housing on your own. Head to the private sector towards the sea. You will see that there are signs on the delivery of housing on the gates of many houses. Feel free to knock and ask about the price and living conditions - most likely, they will turn out to be better than those offered to you at the station (this is confirmed by practice).
Step 3
Food in Crimea is also not a problem. There are numerous cafes and eateries at your service. If the conditions in your temporary home permit, you can prepare your own meals. Vegetables, fruits and other food items can be bought in small shops and markets for a very small amount.
Step 4
Don't worry about not having something to do - the entertainment will find you on its own. On the city beach you will be gladly offered to ride a "pill" or "banana", sail on a yacht, perhaps even fly a hang glider. Numerous tents along the coast will overwhelm you with offers to go on an excursion to amazing Crimean places. However, do not rush to buy an excursion tour, because you can organize the trip yourself, which will cost you 5-10 times cheaper. To do this, you only need a well-hung tongue and a map of Crimea.
