Step 1
Traditionally, the festival is held at the Riga International Exhibition Center, located at Kipsalas Street 8. All events are divided into several thematic sections: seeds and seedlings, landscape design, garden tools, soil and fertilizers. Guests can check the schedule and visit only the events that interest them. At the festival, you can not only admire the beautiful flowers, but also buy seeds and seedlings, decorations for your garden and the work of artisans, which are presented at a large exhibition-fair, also held at the festival. Admission for visitors to the horticultural festival is free.

In order to get to the summer gardening festival, a Russian citizen will have to obtain a Schengen visa. You need to submit the following set of documents to the Latvian Embassy: a foreign passport, a photocopy of an internal passport, a visa application form, two color photographs, a confirmation of a hotel reservation in Latvia, travel tickets or their photocopies, a certificate from the place of work, as well as a bank statement confirming your financial viability. You will also have to issue a medical policy for the duration of your stay in a foreign country and pay a consular fee of 65 euros.
Step 3
The fastest and most convenient way to get to Riga is by plane. A flight from Domodedovo or Sheremetyevo will take you only two hours. There is also a daily train in the direction of Moscow-Riga. In this case, the journey will take you 16 hours. You will arrive in the Latvian capital at 10 am local time. Also, regular buses leave from the square near the Rizhsky railway station every day. The bus journey also takes 16 hours. You can also get to the place by private vehicle. In this case, your path will run through the Moscow, Tver and Pskov regions. After entering Latvia, you need to take the A12 motorway.
