Make a list of the things you plan to take on your trip. Study it thoroughly and analyze whether everything indicated is really what you need. Cross out the item as soon as you have doubts about its necessity.

For travel, a suitcase on wheels is better than a bag. It makes no sense to choose a very large suitcase - you will be tempted to put the maximum amount of clothes in it.

To avoid any problems with luggage breakage on the road, pay attention to its condition in advance. Do not close the suitcase by force, it is better to lay out a few things.

Try to choose a wardrobe for the trip so that you can easily compose several sets of clothes for different occasions from the minimum number of items. It is better if things are made of non-crease fabrics. Grab a pair of matching colored scarves and belts and you can easily diversify your outfits.

Put the heaviest things at the bottom of your bag or suitcase - books, shoes, etc. Place underwear and socks in between. Roll your clothes into a roll - this way you will save extra space in your suitcase, and things will be less wrinkled.

Stock up on cosmetics and hygiene products (shampoo, cream, lotion, toothpaste, etc.) in special packages that are smaller than usual. It is advisable to put the accessories for washing in a separate cosmetic bag, which will always be at hand. If you are going to fly by plane, put all toiletries and creams in a sturdy bag - when pressure drops, creams and shampoos can leak and stain clothes.
