This is a city steeped in history, especially since it was recently restored. If you love Europe, then you can visit Vyborg near St. Petersburg. It is a city of European architecture with a preserved fortress from three hundred years ago. If you look at the photos, you can easily confuse some areas of Vyborg with small cities in Europe. If you are more attracted to Asia, then be sure to visit Buryatia. There you can see the incredible datsan, which is the center of Russian Buddhism.
