Amazing landscapes, fresh air, interesting pastime, good company - all this can give you a hike. If this is your first camping trip, you will have to seriously prepare.
Recently, various hikes have become popular among office workers and all those people who spend 5 days a week in stuffy offices. That is why they choose nature trips, extreme sports and hiking.
Going camping for the first time: preparation
If you are going on a hike, then you should take care of the presence of an experienced tourist in the group. Such a person will be able to warn you about potential dangers, help you pack your backpack, define a list of necessary things, and will also be able to show you all the beauties of nature. You can find an experienced tourist among your friends or search the Internet for ads about organizing trips. Otherwise, you may find yourself in an unfamiliar place without food or water.
We collect the backpack
Depending on the duration of the hike, the contents of your backpack will change. For example, if you want to go out of town literally for 4-5 hours, then you can take a small supply of water (1.5-2 liters), a couple of sandwiches, a flashlight, matches and a camera. It is with such things that you can comfortably walk in nature and take pictures of local natural attractions.
If the hike will last from several days to a week, then you will have to take a significant amount of food, water, a map, flashlights with spare batteries, additional batteries for a cell phone, a tent (optionally a sleeping bag), change clothes and shoes, a gas burner, matches, first aid kit and much more. Usually, for such trips, the weight of the backpack is 50-100 kilograms.
Long hikes are intended for more or less experienced people, which is why if you are going on a hike for the first time, then the best option would be a trip of 1-2 days.
Enjoy the journey
If you went on a hike with a hiking instructor, you will have to follow their instructions. This behavior can save you from injury and other troubles. It should be remembered the unspoken rule that "there is one leader in the group." If you start to show independence, then the case may end up with poisoning or broken limbs (especially if you went to the mountains).
If you want to connect your life with hiking, then you can go hiking professionally by training to be an instructor. Today there are many different schools where you will be taught everything.
