The need for micro-crediting of tickets has been long overdue and there have already been attempts to implement it, although they did not have much success. Back in 2005, Utair together with Renaissance Credit Bank tested the possibility of selling air tickets on credit. But they were forced to curtail this program due to too small cash turnover.
Instructions
Step 1
In the third decade of 2012, a microcredit program for passengers of the most popular railway transport was launched in a test mode. It gave its results (19 credits were taken for 30 tickets) and since June 2012 it was transferred to a permanent basis. So if you don't have enough funds to buy a ticket, go to the station in those 57 cities from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok (for example, Cherepovets or Vologda), where specialized ticket offices are open. But you can also contact any service center of JSC FPC, a subsidiary of the Russian Railways.
Step 2
Buy tickets for an amount not exceeding 25 thousand Russian rubles. Otherwise, you will need either additional cash or a bank card to buy a ticket.
Step 3
To obtain a railway loan, be sure to take a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. The whole process will take you, according to preliminary estimates of experts, no more than 20 minutes. At the same time, you will be given a credit card, which you can use not only for one trip, but for the required number of them within two years. In this case, the amount of the limit will constantly increase from operation to operation. In this case, use the card to buy more comfortable and convenient tickets (CB or compartment) for long distances.
Step 4
Servicing the card by the bank will cost you 800 rubles per year. This is fundamentally different from obtaining a regular bank loan both in terms of processing time (in the bank it will take several days) and in terms of payment for the maintenance and servicing of the loan by the bank. The loan for railway tickets was not launched with the aim of collecting a cash interest later. Pay off your debt within the next 55 days (which is almost 2 months) - and you will not have to pay interest for this grace period. But you can choose another way: to pay the principal debt together with interest in the amount of 5% of the debt amount every month.
Step 5
If there is not enough money to buy a ticket, and the city where a special credit office is open is far away, take a consumer loan at any bank. At the same time, you may not focus on the fact that this loan is for the purchase of a railway ticket. You simply conclude a loan agreement with the bank and, in accordance with its clauses, you will pay off your debt. Likewise, you can use the service of obtaining a credit card.
