The service for the sale of train tickets on credit has been launched by Russian Railways in partnership with one of the banks since the end of May 2012. It is intended primarily for those who are left without money during the trip, so that such people can return home. But this is not a prerequisite. The main thing is that the passenger meets the requirements of the bank for the borrower.

Instructions
Step 1
Find a specialized Russian Railways ticket office that sells tickets on credit. At the very beginning of the provision of services, such services appeared only in large cities at train stations and in trans-agencies. But over time, their number should increase with coverage of smaller stations.
Step 2
Tell the cashier about your desire to purchase a ticket on credit and present your passport. Also answer the additional questions of the cashier. Most likely, the bank will need information about your place of work, average monthly income, various contact numbers: home, work, mobile. If your address of actual residence differs from the place of registration indicated in the passport, please also inform it. The decision to grant a loan to the bank, according to the assurance of its representatives and the management of Russian Railways, takes about two minutes.
Step 3
Voice all information about the future trip in case of a positive decision on the loan: when and where you are going, how many tickets you need, in one direction or there and back, wishes for the departure time or train number, type and class of the carriage, wishes regarding the tier of seats (upper or lower), their location (in one compartment, not near the toilet, not on the side in a reserved seat, etc.), the benefits available to passengers, if any.
Step 4
Make a choice from the options offered by the cashier. If necessary and possible, ask to see what is offered for other dates.
Step 5
Pay for the ticket with a credit card, which the cashier will issue and give you on the spot in case of a positive decision of the bank regarding the loan. Receive a printed ticket form and check it without leaving the checkout.
Step 6
Ask the cashier about the available ways to repay the loan. Try to pay off the debt in full within fifty-five days from the date of ticket issuance. This will allow you not to overpay a penny for the loan.
