In early July, Russian Railways launched a loyalty program to exchange bonus points for tickets. Each person traveling on trains formed by JSC FPC can receive bonus tickets. In order to participate in this program, you need to complete a number of steps.
The number of bonus points awarded to a passenger will depend on the range and type of carriage. All distances are divided into several zones: from 500 to 1250 kilometers, from 1250 to 2500, from 2500 to 5000 and from 5000 to 10000. The carriages in which the participant will receive bonuses when traveling are also divided into “soft”, “SV”, "Coupe" and "reserved seat". Up to 10,000 points can be earned in one trip.
When the required number of bonuses has been accumulated, they can be exchanged for award tickets, also by selecting the desired type of carriage. To start participating in the loyalty program, you need to register on the Russian Railways website in the “bonuses” program and fill out a questionnaire there. In your personal information, you must specify an email address, because notifications will be received via this communication channel. You will also need to indicate the address of your residence. Each registrant is assigned his own identification number.
After registration and filling in all the necessary data, a temporary card of a participant in the bonus program of Russian Railways is sent to the e-mail. You can print it out or just remember your registration number. The next time you buy tickets, you must provide your ID number. Only after that bonuses will be credited to the card.
After three trips on the trains of JSC FPC, an unlimited plastic card is sent by mail. It can be temporary, basic or gold (the name depends on the distance of travel and the choice of the carriage). The card performs only one function - the carrier of the identification number. Moreover, when ordering or buying tickets, the number can be entered electronically (by reading it from the card) or manually.
In the near future, the loyalty program will expand by attracting partners. Perhaps the accumulated points can be spent on additional services in banks and trade and service companies.
