A baggage check is a document intended for registration of baggage transportation. It would seem that everything is simple and clear. However, in fact, not only passengers, but also employees of the railway station or airport face difficulties when registering baggage.

Instructions

Step 1

The railway baggage receipt consists of 3 parts: - the actual baggage receipt (1st copy of the receipt; handed over to the passenger);

- luggage road bill (2nd copy of the receipt; issued to the luggage escort service);

- the back of the baggage check (report receipt).

Step 2

Indicate the following details in the baggage receipt: - baggage departure station;

- baggage destination station;

- Full name of the sender of the recipient of the baggage;

- name and type of baggage. In addition, the receipt must indicate its number, the passenger's ticket number, the passenger's address (to which, at his request, baggage, cargo or mail can be sent). The second copy of the receipt will serve as a road bill. It must be handed over directly to the baggage car to the receiver.

Step 3

Please note: if you issue a receipt through the Express system terminal, you will also need a third copy, which must be left at the cash desk.

Step 4

Each piece of baggage must be marked in accordance with the general rules of carriage (an inscription is applied or a tag is attached).

Step 5

For air transportation, excess (paid) baggage is processed in almost the same way. Each piece of baggage is checked out on a separate receipt.

Step 6

Indicate in the receipt: - ticket number;

- excess weight (in kg);

- excess seats (if you have oversized baggage);

- weight of oversized baggage;

- tariff for 1 kg (for 1 seat);

- the amount of fees;

- the total amount of payment for baggage transportation;

- baggage transportation route;

- form of payment (in cash or by bank card with the obligatory indication of its number);

- two-character code of the baggage carrier (airline);

- place of baggage claim;

- baggage claim date (date - 2 digits, month - 3 letters, year). Each control coupon of each receipt must be stamped with the personal stamp of the cashier who performed the transaction.
