Tour features
The Inkerman plant has been on the list of the best in the industry for more than a quarter of a century, as the guide will tell about during the excursion. At the same time, the employees of the plant itself play their role here, and they put not only words, but also their soul into their own stories. They are able to share with tourists everything that ordinary guides do not know.
After the rich in flowers and colorful courtyard, tourists find themselves in wine cellars, and they form a real underground city. Many centuries ago, there were stone workings on the site of the plant, so the place is literally saturated with a unique atmosphere.
Also, many tourists note the incredible and unusual silence for a person. According to experts, the sounds and the general background leave an imprint on wines.
Oak rubble
One of the main attractions of the local cellars is the oak barrels. They are called barrels with unique aromas, inside of which wines are stored. At the same time, aging in oak containers due to a number of processes gives the wine a unique smell and taste. In the basements of the plant there are over 700 giant barrels with volumes of 5-20 thousand liters. Also in the basements there are 7000 small barrels - with volumes of 300-1000 liters.
In the basement, you can feel "phlegm", but you don't need to be afraid of moisture - it is created in the premises on purpose. This is necessary for effective wine aging. Also in the basements there is a small temperature - from +12 to +16 degrees. This is the ideal temperature setting for a noble drink. And in the rock massif there is a workshop in which wines are aged.
Employee guides will talk about the features of production used at the plant, and then show them with their own eyes. The journey through the factory ends with a tasting, in which tourists are offered from 6 to 10 unique wine brands.
