Each of us, at least once in our life, faced a choice - which resort to go to rest. The task is not an easy one, and in this article I will tell you what the main resort of Thailand - Pattaya is.

Instructions

Step 1

Pattaya can be easily reached in 2 hours by minibus (shuttle bus) from Bangkok Airport. The first feature of the country that most tourists and travelers encounter is the humid hot climate. It is worth thinking in advance about whether you have any diseases that can be exacerbated in such climatic conditions.

Step 2

You arrived in Pattaya, chose a suitable area for your stay, a hotel, what should you do now? Where can you go? Firstly, you have come to the sea, so the first thing to visit is the beach. The beach area at this resort stretches along the entire city and is divided into the northern part (Naklua, Wongamat streets), the central part (Jomtien mini-town) and the southern part.

The beach in Pattaya is not very clean, while, as the experience of tourists shows, the cleanest beach area is located in the north of the city. On the Pattaya beach, Thais will often come up to you in order to sell some souvenirs, cosmetic products or various goodies. Treat them with a smile!

If you want to see clear clear water, then you can safely go to the nearby island of Ko Larn. From the pier of Pattaya, located in the south, ferries leave for the island every half hour, the ticket costs 30 baht (30 rubles). There are several beaches on the island, about 4-5, where you can soak up the gentle sea sun. Also on the island you can rent bikes, sun loungers, boats and jet skis. There are many good cafes.

There are also many other wonderful islands in the vicinity of Pattaya: Ko Kood (this is a coconut lagoon with tall palm trees and white sand), Ko Chang (a very beautiful place), Samet (here the water is really azure, and the sand is like in an advertisement for the famous chocolate with coconut filling). On Samet, you can ride jet skis, boats, parachutes, get a temporary henna tattoo, taste local food, even rent a house for living. The sea, or rather the Gulf of Thailand, is very beautiful, especially at sunset.

Step 3

In addition to water activities, the city has a lot of places worth visiting. The first is Walkin Street pedestrianized street. In the evening, real madness is going on here. Thais show different shows. You can meet a Turkish ice cream maker who performs magic tricks, just magicians. You can see real impromptu Thai boxing right on the street. People from all over the world rest here. A large number of Americans, Chinese, etc. Russians, of course. There are lots of clubs, restaurants and cafes around. In the morning, all this buzz and pathos turns into an ordinary street with shops, and the pedestrian part becomes a carriageway.

I would like to note that in the city at every step there are travel agencies where you can buy a tour. A must-see is the "River Kwai". Experienced guides say that without visiting Kwai, you have not seen the real Thailand.

The excursion includes rafting down the river with a fast current in vests, visiting two beautiful waterfalls, riding elephants in the tropics, an elephant show in a local village, a floating village, and a visit to a teak factory. An excursion at street travel agencies costs about 2,500 rubles.

For extreme lovers, quad biking in the tropics is offered. The price is similar. One cannot remain indifferent from this trip, it is a great burst of adrenaline, new emotions.

In general, Pattaya is a good place for an overseas vacation, relatively budgetary. Go for adventure!
