The cost of air tickets for one flight purchased through different sales channels or at different times can vary significantly. And in order not to overpay for the same service, you should devote a little more time to finding a cheaper option.
Instructions
Step 1
Use modern online booking services. In the system, you must set the starting and ending points of the route and select the date of the flight. You will receive a list of flights that can be conveniently sorted by departure time, connection duration, price. Be sure to write down the name of the airline that operates flights to the desired destination at the best price. Do not rush to order a cheap air ticket on specialized sites.
Step 2
Find in the search engine the official website of the airline that sells cheap flights to your chosen destination. Visit it. Set route points and departure date, compare the price with the one indicated on the booking system website. The difference can be up to 30%, so it is more profitable to buy directly. If the website of the air carrier is not presented in Russian, use a dictionary or online translator. The process of booking a ticket generally coincides with how it happens with our companies: first, a flight is selected, then data about passengers is entered, after which payment is made.
Step 3
Book your flights on time. For example, if you buy a ticket to Montenegro for June in November, you can save up to 5-7 thousand rubles per passenger, because closer to summer travel companies form package offers and redeem seats on airplanes. At the same time, a couple of days before the flight, air carriers discount prices subject to availability of seats in the cabin. The largest discounts are made for flights to countries requiring a visa. If you have an open Schengen area, why not take advantage of this.
Step 4
Register on the websites of airlines and subscribe to the newsletter. This way you will be aware of all the special offers. What if a route that interests you is among the stocks?
Step 5
Use the services of low-cost airlines. Unfortunately, there are no such airlines in Russia, but they operate regular flights from other countries, in particular from Latvia and Ukraine. A ticket from Kiev or Riga to one of the capitals of Europe can cost from 15 euros, so it is much cheaper to spend the night on the train and take a plane there.
