There are two cities in Russia whose names are similar. The official name of one is Rostov-on-Don, but in oral speech the city is often called simply Rostov. The second is Rostov in the Yaroslavl region, which is also called Rostov the Great, so as not to be confused with the first city. Accordingly, it makes sense to consider how to get to the bus stations of one and another city.
Instructions
Step 1
Use the online service that determines the routes of public transport in Rostov-on-Don. Indicate the street from which you plan to get to the station. Let, for example, be Fadeeva st.
Step 2
In the field below, enter the address of the bus station: Siversa pr., 1.
Step 3
Click the Find button to see possible routes. In this case, there are four options, and two of them are with a transfer. As you can see, you need to get off at the main bus station or the main railway station. The service shows all trolleybuses, buses and minibuses that will take you to the desired place. If you want to walk, there is information about how many meters you need to walk from a particular stop. Similarly, you can get directions from any part of the city - you just need to know the street from which you will be getting.
Step 4
If you are getting to Rostov-on-Don from another city, look at the bus schedule from the main bus station. For example, click on the link "Odessa-Pyatigorsk". In the window that appears, you can see that from the cities of Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson, Melitopol, etc., you can take a bus directly to the bus station in Rostov-on-Don.
Step 5
In Rostov-on-Don, there are other bus stations, besides the main one. If you want to know how to get to them, call the dispatcher - the phones are in the "Contact information about bus stations".
Step 6
In Rostov the Great, the bus station is located on the Savvinsky highway. See the bus schedule for the bus station to find options for arriving from other cities directly to the station: for example, click on the link "Moscow - Rybinsk". In the window that appears, you can see that the bus station can be reached by buses from the cities of Moscow, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Petrovsk, Yaroslavl, Tutaev and Rybinsk. By analogy, you can study other tracks.
Step 7
There is no airport in Rostov Veliky, so get to the city by road or by rail. The bus and train stations are located in the same building - you won't get lost in this small town.
