Kamyanets-Podilskyi is one of the most interesting cities in western Ukraine and the most ancient places in Podolia. It is located in the Khmelnytsky region and is its administrative center. A train. If you are traveling from afar and use public transport, then the most convenient way to get to Kamenets-Podolsky is to take a passenger train from Kiev. There are two trains, one goes at night, the other during the day. Trains make stops in Kozyatyn, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky. You can get on the train not in Kiev itself.
Step 3
There are two electric trains in Kamyanets-Podolsky a day. The first of them follows from the city of Larga to Khmelnitsky. Its full route takes 4 hours; the train makes many stops along the way. The second train runs between the settlements of Lenkovtsy and Grechany. Its full route takes 3, 5 hours. Trains can be convenient when you are driving from nearby settlements or traveling around the city's suburbs, which also have many attractions.
Step 4
The bus can be much more convenient transport, as its schedule allows for various options, which are not so many with a train. You can get to Kamenets-Podilsky by bus from most major cities of Ukraine, but it is most convenient to do this from the nearby regional centers: the cities of Khmelnitsky or Chernivtsi. From Khmelnitsky, the bus takes about 2 hours. In general, any interregional route to the city of Chernivtsi passes through Kamyanets-Podolsky. To clarify whether it is possible to get off in Kamenets, the best way is at the ticket office or from the bus driver. Keep in mind that you can get both by suburban buses to Kamenets-Podolsk, which leave from the bus stations of Khmelnytsky and Chernivtsi, and by long-distance buses that run from almost all major cities of Ukraine.
