Another famous mountainous region is called Shemakha. There are many mountain meadows here, vast areas are occupied by mountain forests. The abundance of mountain rivers and springs makes hiking in these places extremely convenient and quite simple. This is a very popular area for tourists. The famous observatory is located not far from the city of Shemakha.
"Minchegaur Sea" is a famous reservoir that provides water to all nearby regions of Azerbaijan. It is not only a center of nature tourism, but also a kind of open-air museum: not far from the lake, archaeologists have discovered monuments of ancient civilizations.
